Group is the action and effect of grouping (gather in group, huddle). The grouping, therefore, is the set of people or things grouped . For example: "A group of revolutionary left claimed the attack on the bank", “Look at that curious group of birds that fly over the lagoon”, “The grouping of branches in the street covered the sewer and produced a flood”.
There are several terms that, according to the context, can be used as synonyms for grouping: community (a group of people gathered for a common purpose or for sharing a certain characteristic) and collective (social group whose members work together for the fulfillment of an objective) are some of them.
In general, the collective is associated with a common origin (whether religious or national), while the collective refers to a unit of people with the same problem. The group usually has an active political participation, with claims of rights and various requests to the authorities. In the case of groupings, they may be spontaneous meetings (such as objects that are brought together by nature's action) or groups constituted for an end (a political group).
The idea grouping is also used to name the bands or musical groups . The term indicates a group of musicians who, by composing and acting together, form a unit: “My dream is to sing in a group of baroque music”.
To level military, on the other hand, a grouping is a homogeneous unit which has a similar importance to a regiment .
Like so many others, feminist groups represent the fight against inequality and abuse of power. Feminism brings together ideologies and promotes cultural, economic and political actions that aim at equal treatment of men and women, strongly opposing social hierarchies based merely on the gender of people.
The importance of feminism is considerable; Among the changes that its militants have achieved throughout history are the right to vote (previously, exclusive to men), reproductive rights (to decide whether to procreate, when to do it and with whom), and the equality of women and men before the eyes of the Law.
While inequality against the law or the inability to decide what to do with the body itself seems problematic in a very remote past, these are issues that many women must face today. Similarly, working conditions are not always the same for both genders: It is common to hear that a woman receives a salary lower than that of a man for the same job, although it is also normal for her performance and her sense of responsibility to be considered higher, according to her own employers.
Feminism has traveled an extensive and complex history, and far from being an expression of rebellion or absurd ambitions, as many have seen since ignorance of the concept itself. There were few opponents of women's liberation who pointed out, at different times and geographical spaces, that feminist women intended to be treated as men. The reality, however, is that they want to be seen as human beings.
The struggle for equality of men and women seems endless, given the strength and scope of the patriarchy (originally, the organization of society that put man first; nowadays, mastery of the social order by men). He language same presents the feminine terms as exceptions or alternatives to males in a large number of cases; on the other hand, there are words like "man", whose first meaning in the dictionary of the SAR is "to be rational, male or female."
