Indigestion it is a term derived from late Latin indigestion. According to the first meaning included in the dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE ), the notion refers to the absence of digestion : the act and the consequence of digesting (the process that is carried out in the digestive system so that the ingested food can be assimilated by the organism).

The most frequent use of the concept, however, refers to a disturbance or disorder that appears during the digestive process . Indigestion, in this context, is associated with Stomach ache who experiences a person when a meal "Dislikes".

It can be said that indigestion implies a disturbance in the normal functioning of the digestive system . Between his symptom there are heartburn, abdominal pressure or pain, flatulence, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
